An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Thomas' SNS is a DEIS Band 1 school in Jobstown Tallaght home to 380 pupils and 50 staff. It is a school that has been at the heart of the Jobstown community for over forty years and community values have been central to everything we have achieved for those forty years.
