Danu Community Special School is a DDLETB school that caters for students with ASD, and moderate and severe intellectual disability and complex needs aged 4- 18 years in Dublin 15.
We are seeking a Post Primary Teacher that has an interest in teaching our students Junior Cycle L1LP & L2LP with particular emphasis in PLU Personal Care and Wellbeing, The Arts, PE or Being Part of the community through subject areas PE, Home Economics or Art. We are looking for a teacher to work as part of a dynamic and collaborative school team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of working in a special educational setting, ASD, PECS, Lamh, managing positive behaviour support are desirable . A genuine interest in working with students with SEN to help them achieve full potential is extremely important. Appointments subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration for ROUTE 2, vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Interviews held on 21.8.24.
