An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
At Scoil Mhuire, we are seeking to appoint teachers who are experienced at working as team players, willing to work as part of a highly-motivated team and who are willing to contribute to the overall development of our school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Experience of working in a similar setting
• Excellent classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility
• Evidence of ongoing CPD
• Sound knowledge of Special Education
• Experience of team-teaching and other in-class support initiatives
• Skill & experience in areas such as Music, Drama, ICT, Sport, Debating
• A recognised qualification to teach Religious Education.
