The Board of Management of St. Brigid’s N.S. invites applications from dedicated and qualified candidates for an SNA position in our school. This appointment is for a permanent 0.5 SNA post and is subject to the normal reviews by the NCSE.
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019.
The candidate must be willing to uphold the Ethos of the school. They should display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently, and as part of a team. The candidate should show a willingness to be involved in school activities and engage in CPD. Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times. Experience with and specific competencies to meet the needs of children with EBD or ASD are desirable.
The appointment will be subject to confirmation of qualifications, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of Children First online training.
