Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This post is for 0.5 of an SNA position. The role will involve working the five days of the school week.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
The following is desirable:
• Experience of working with children with ASD, Down syndrome, Visual Impairment, toileting needs and a variety of other needs.
• Child Protection training and certification.
• A strong team-work ethic, initiative, flexibility.
• A willingness to engage in relevant CPD.
• Be kind, patient and empathetic.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, up to date Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
