The Board of Management of Kildare Place School invites applications for the position of Teaching Deputy Principal. This appointment will be made via open competition.

Kildare Place is a co-educational national school located in Rathmines, Dublin 6. Our school has a Church of Ireland ethos and operates under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.

The Deputy Principal will work with the Principal and the In-School Leadership Team to support and develop effective leadership within the school. The roles and responsibilities of the post are determined by the four domains of leadership and management as set out in circular 0044/2019 and the recently updated 'Looking at our Schools' document.

The four domains of leadership and management are as follows:
1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
