An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Application for Clontarf Area Supply Panel - Fixed Term Posts as advertised (base school St. Brigid's B.N.S). There are 26 schools in the cluster and this post gives a great opportunity to gain valuable short-term experience in a variety of settings.
Application by EMAIL only to supplypanelstbrigidsbns@gmail.com and only those shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
Supply panel teachers will be appointed to St. Brigid's B.N.S. (the base school) under a fixed-term contract for one year until the 31/08/2024 and teachers will be paid to the end of the summer holidays.
The Supply Panel is now a temporary additional pathway for NQTs to complete Droichead.
St. Brigid's B.N.S. will be seeking to fill these positions as swiftly as possible. As a result, candidates may be called to interview earlier than the standard designated timeframes in order to supply the other cluster schools with a sufficient number of teachers.
Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per DE Circular 0009/2015.
Appointment will be subject to current Teaching Council Registration, Garda Vetting
requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
