An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

In addition to the permanent post there is also a fixed term post for the current academic year.
Red Hill School is a special school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. It is essential that applicants have a minimum of four months experience in an autism specific educational setting. It is desirable that applicants have experience in managing challenging behaviour. It is desirable that applicants have certification in CPI/MAPA.
