POST DETAILS
Additional Information:
New Court Special School caters for children who are diagnosed with mild intellectual disability and complex special needs and who are aged between 5 and 18 years. The school patron is the Sunbeam Trust.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and can work on their own initiative whilst making a positive contribution to the team. Candidates must be willing to undertake training which relate to the needs of the children and the school. Experience in working with students with autism is desirable.
Applicants must have the qualifications set out in the Department of Education Circular 44/2014. Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and occupational health screening. Applicants with panel rights must furnish a certified copy of a completed copy of PF1 with their application.
Appointment is subject to the SNA meeting the specific competencies and/or requirements to meet the special educational needs of the pupil(s) enrolled in New Court Special School.
