An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There are two permanent positions, 0.83 and 0.75.
There is also a fixed-term position available for the 2023/2024 academic year. (Please note this is not a permanent position)

Applicants should have experience of supporting pupils with complex care needs, sensory needs, challenging behaviours, communication difficulties and intimate care needs. Knowledge and experience of working with children with autism, including in a special class context, may be beneficial.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
