Firhouse Educate Together Secondary School opened to 1st Year students in August 2018 in Dublin 24. We invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Special Needs Assistant for the coming academic year. There are three positions; two full-time positions arising from increased allocation and one 16-hour fixed-term position arising from a job-sharing position. The contracts will be from 01/09/2021 and will involve supporting students in the mainstream setting and the autism class. Induction will take place in advance of the return to school.
The posts will be filled in accordance with DoE guidelines and relevant circular letters, and will be subject also to a certificate of medical fitness, and vetting disclosure from the National Vetting Bureau. Shortlisting of candidates will take place and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Interviews will take place the week beginning 19th June.
