The Candidate is required to work as a Special Educational Needs (SET) teacher at Junior and Senior cycle for 22 hours. The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated SEN team that caters for a wide range of pupils. The post is Literacy focused so a qualification in English would be of benefit. A qualification in Special Education is required.
Experience in the following would be valuable for the position:
Teaching learning support
Working with students in an ASD class
Administration of the following tests: WIAT, DASH, WRAT5, WJIV
Completion of RACE applications
