Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School (HCETSS) opened in August 2020 in temporary accommodation on the site of the former Greyhound Racing Stadium, Harold’s Cross.
This is also the permanent location of the school, recently gone to tender, which when built will accommodate 1000 students.
We are looking for a teacher of Technology, Graphics and Coding.
Given the nature of a start-up school, it is envisaged that teachers would teach a range of subjects, help to develop a strong co-curricular and extra-curricular culture and that they would enjoy leading aspects of school development under the guidance and support of the Principal and Deputy Principal.
The successful candidate must be a team player who displays the HCETSS team attributes of humility, commitment and common sense and who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating a vibrant learning environment.
The school will also offer a coaching and mentoring programme to support staff continuous professional development as well as building leadership capacity within our school.
Students in the school use iPads and the integration of technology into learning and teaching will be an important element in the school's approach.
This position offers an amazing opportunity to establish and build a subject department(s) in a vibrant and growing school and co-design the relevant specialist rooms in our brand new school building.
