An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:

The Red Door School is a school for children with autism and complex needs. Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in augmentative communication and assisted teaching technologies for pupils with ASD, demonstrate the ability to lead a class team, have experience in coordinating Individual Education Plans, working from behavioural support plans and managing challenging behaviour.
