Description:
Mother of Fair Love Special School, James's Street, Kilkenny, Roll No 19210P under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Ossory is designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a coeducational special school for children aged 5-18 years assessed as having a Mild General Learning Disability, 64 Students, 8 Teachers plus Principal, 11 SNA's.
The Physical Education curriculum will be taught to students aged 12-18 years. The Physical Education teacher collaborates with the other post primary teachers to fulfil the Learning Outcomes for Junior Cycle Level 2.
Experience in dealing with additional special needs such as ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable.
Teaching Council No required
1.5 hours per week
