An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There are 2 permanent junior day positions (0.83) and 1 junior day (0.83) Maternity leave position. Please state in application what position(s) you are applying for.

It is essential to have relevant experience working with non verbal young children in a primary school setting, dealing with challenging behaviours, toileting needs, general hygiene issues and assisting with orientation and mobility issues.

Experience, skills and qualification in the area of intellectual disability and Autism are necessary. Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
