Appointment will be subject to the provision of 3rd level qualifications, Teaching Council Registration or evidence of application, suitable references & Garda Vetting clearance.
Qualifications/Experience
Essential Requirements
Experience of providing pastoral and spiritual support
A teaching or chaplaincy related qualification
Knowledge and experience of teaching
Knowledge and experience of leading retreats
Knowledge and experience of leading liturgies and prayer services
Knowledge of effective pastoral care and safeguarding and child protection issues
Desired Requirements
Familiarity with the Characteristics of Jesuit education as articulated through the Living Tradition document – a vision of Jesuit education in the 21st century.
Understanding Ignatian pedagogy and Ignatian spirituality.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and/or completed the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola.
