An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Chaitríona invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of part-time Special Needs Assistant (0.83 - infant day).
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
Experience of and/or, training in working with children with A.S.D, hearing impairments, medical care and toileting needs is essential.
A background in wellbeing and mindfulness is a bonus.
Please Note: The above can be amended to suit the requirements of the post/needs of the school.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
