St. Peter's National School, Phibsboro, Dublin 7 is currently advertising a two-week parent’s leave/ substitute maternity position.
The parent’s leave will run from the 17th of October until the 28th of October 2022. Mid-term break will take place before the maternity leave starts on the 7th of November 2022 and concludes on the 7th of May 2023 (with a high possibility of extension until the end of the school year- June 29th 2023)

There is also a fixed term vacancy in SET from the 3rd of October 2022 until the 31st of August 2023 (if position is filled by the first Monday in November.
St. Peter's NS has been designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a base school for the Primary Supply Panel (2022/2023).
There are four fixed-term position vacancies remaining for the 2022/23 school year.
The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave. Supply panel teachers will
- be appointed to St. Peter's NS (the base school) under a fixed-term contract for one year from the 1st of September 2022 (or starting date) until the 31/08/2023.
- be required to provide substitute cover in all schools (25 in total) in a designated cluster and may be deployed into a variety of settings including various class standards (including multi-grade), special education settings and Irish -medium schools.
Supply panel teachers will gain great experience in a range of different settings as well as the flexibility of working in mainstream, SET, special classes, multi-grade settings etc.

Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015.

Experience in a range of settings: SET, multi-grade classes. all class settings (including infants) and Irish medium schools.
