An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Powerstown ETNS are seeking 2 permanent teachers to join our energetic, talented and supportive "special class" team.

We currently have 3 Autism classes in operation and 1 Development Language Disorder Class.

We hope to open our 4th Autism class this academic year, starting with Junior Infant pupils currently enrolled in mainstream classes.

Applicants should have teaching council registration, experience working with autistic children, suitable CPD and be interested in working as part of a dynamic, professional team in our school.

We hope to have interviews on Friday the 7th of October.
