The Board of Management of Tonragee N.S. welcomes applications for the position of Deputy Principal.
Tonragee N.S. is a co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Tuam. The school is participating in the Gaeltacht School Recognition Scheme. A high standard of both spoken and written Irish is essential for this post.
The Deputy Principal will work in collaboration with the Principal to ensure that all students have a positive educational experience, that there is strong leadership across the school and that the school fully conforms to the governance structures as set out by the Department of Education.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019:
1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
