An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position will require availability to work 5 days per week for up to 2hrs per day (1hr morning and1 hr afternoon, subject to change.)
Candidates should be resilient, kind and caring, be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility, and have excellent teamwork skills. You will be joining a proactive, hands on, and supportive team and school environment.
The successful candidate will be:
• Responsible for assisting pupils in and out of the bus and to ensure pupils' safety when travelling
• Responsible for observing and supervising pupils while travelling
Escorts must have their own transport to and from the drop off point agreed with the bus contractor.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, an occupational health screening and Tusla child Safeguarding training.
