Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is an infant day position (0.83).
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per the DES guidelines.
Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work both on their own initiative and in a team capacity. All members of the school staff are expected to respect the school's ethos. Communication skills, understanding of school structures, along with a willingness to engage in further training is extremely important.
Previous experience in working with children with complex needs is essential. Manual handling training and basic IT skills would be beneficial.
Initial duties of the post may change depending on the care needs of the children.
The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible as work may be allocated in a number of classrooms.
The appointment will be subject to Garda Vetting, Occupational Health Screening, and completion of Tusla online child Safeguarding training.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel please state in your letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 Form.
The position is subject to NCSE and SENO review.
