An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Our Lady of Mercy seeks an experienced Special Needs Assistant. This position is an infant day (0.83)
Desirable experience:
Knowledge and experience of working with children with Autism is desirable.
-Competencies required in the school include: ASD support, ADHD support, epilepsy, emotional and behavioural difficulties, physical disabilities Lámh communication system I.T. skills and First Aid, training are desirable.
- Evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education is advantageous as well as displaying a commitment to ongoing CPD engagement.
Please include a PF1 form, if applicable.
