An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Shellybanks Educate Together National School is a developing school which opened in 2014 and is located in Sandymount, Dublin 4. We have one class for autistic students.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the Educate Together ethos.

The roles and responsibilities of this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in circular 0044/2019
1. Leading teaching and learning.
2. Managing the organisation.
3. Leading the school development.
4. Developing leadership capacity.

The following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
- Proven leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and a commitment to Special Education.
- Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development particularly in the area of leadership and I.T.

Please note the following:
- a minimum of five eligible applicants is required for the process to proceed.
- interviews are likely to take place during the week commencing 25th of July 2022.
- a second interview may be required.
