An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Experience with Mainstream Class Teaching and Special Educational Teaching is desirable.
Kilmeen NS is seeking a professional who is a team player and is willing to contribute to the overall development of a busy school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
Knowledge and experience of teaching children with special educational needs.
Experience in teaching Literacy Lift-Off, Guided Reading, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy advantageous.
Interests/skills /experience in music/sport/I.T/STEM/extra-curricular activities are advantageous.
Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education. It is desirable that candidates can demonstrate how they will contribute to the overall Catholic ethos of the school.
