An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited for the post of bus escort. Holy Family National School, Ballyshannon currently has two posts available. One post (17.5hrs per week) and one post (14hours per week). Candidates need to be available to work between 1-2 hours in the morning and evening Monday to Friday during the school year. The pick up and drop off point is Holy Family National School, Ballyshannon, County Donegal.
The job will entail the supervision of pupils while they travel to and from school. The escort is responsible for the safety of the child on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting in and out of transport safely, securing appropriate seat belts etc. Experience of working with children with special needs or relevant experience is desirable.
