An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Joseph's Special School wishes to invite applications for a fixed term teaching post in a special class for the remainder of the academic year, commencing on 18th October 2021 .
St. Joseph's caters for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with mild learning disabilities and other additional needs. Experience in working with pupils with ASD, AAC systems and challenging behaviour would be desirable.
Application should be made using the standard application form and letter of application and should be submitted by email to the Chairperson of the Board of Management to the following email: teacherapplications.stjosephs@gmail.com by 2pm on 22nd September 2021, this being 12 calendar days from the date of this advertisement.
