The Board of Management of Scoil Thomáis invite applications for the position of Administrative Principal. The post is effective from 4th October 2021
Scoil Thomáis is a co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin.
Current staffing includes 44 teachers, 10 SNA posts and 6 Ancillary Staff. Scoil Thomáis is a base school for D15 Supply Teacher Panel.
The roles and responsibilities for the post of Principal are aligned to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.
Applicants should demonstrate
A commitment to supporting the Catholic Ethos of the school.
A good understanding of Leadership, Management and Administration in a primary school context.
Have proven interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, an ability to implement school-based initiatives, manage school teams and lead the school community
An understanding of current and future developments in education
Evidence of and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Appointment will be subject to current Vetting Requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The post shall commence on Monday 4th October 2021. This is an Open Competition process.
