An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Aislinn is a special school designated for children with Autism and Complex Needs. It is a 7 teacher coeducational specialist primary school under the patronage of Cope Foundation, Bonnington Montenotte. Cork
The successful candidate must be fully registered under route 1 (Primary) or route 4 (other) with the teaching Council and have 5 years recognised teaching service 2 of which must be in a recognised Primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate vision,management, and leadership qualities and will enjoy working in a dynamic and demanding role in an environment of continuous learning, working in conjunction with our highly qualified and motivated staff.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and have a good understanding of team building.Have a high level of understanding and knowledge of Special needs, of Special needs education, of inclusion, and of diversity and differentiation in Education.
