This SNA post has been created due to the opening of an autism-specific special class at Star of the Sea Sandymount.
The daily hours will correspond to the infant school day, which ends one hour before the full school day.
The post is permanent subject to the school retaining its present allocation of Special Needs Assistants.
Candidates should have a demonstrable interest and/or experience in supporting children with additional needs that may be associated with autism, down syndrome and sensory impairments.
Applications should demonstrate attention to detail and care. Word-processed files bearing letters of application and application forms will be considered.
