St Laurence’s National School is a welcoming and vibrant school under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin. Applicants must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education and be able to demonstrate a commitment to leading and strengthening the Catholic ethos of the school. The school is held in high regard by the local community and has strong links with local sporting and community groups.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with pupils, staff and the wider community in developing, implementing and evaluating many innovative school-based activities.

Competence and experience in policy development and implementation.
Proven ability to work as an empathetic and enthusiastic member of a team.
Experience in prioritising, planning and organising a workload.
Knowledge of SSE and the Primary Curriculum and the multi-faceted complexities of teaching, including but not limited to IT, SEN and STEAM.
Ability to promote a culture of learning and creativity in the school.
Motivated to have a role in mentoring and the professional development of staff members.
Willingness to enthusiastically assist the Principal and the Leadership and Management Team in the day to day operation of the school.
