We require a full-time biology teacher for an 18 month maternity cover beginning February 2021.

The ideal candidate would be able to teach biology at all levels for students 11-18. The role will also require some teaching of mathematics for our youngest cohort. The ability to offer another science is also an advantage.

SEK Dublin is an international day and boarding school 35 minutes south of Dublin, between Greystones and Bray, set amongst a stunning natural environment. Children begin at 11 and progress through to secondary up to 18 years of age.

We were the first school in Ireland to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma (DP) programmes. An understanding of the IB programme would be an advantage.

Certification with the Teaching Council, British QTS or an equivalent allowing registration with the Teaching Council is necessary.
