Jigsaw Creche requires an experienced childcare professional to supervise our afterschool children aged from 5 years up to 11 years. This position is for an Immediate Start. During the school year, our after school children are collected from school and brought to the club by our buses. Their dinner is served at 3pm, then we do homework and various play and learn activities in the afternoon hours. During the summertime and other school holidays children take part in various planned activities. Our teacher will be responsible for all aspects of the care of the children to include activity planning, supervision, coordinating collection times with bus drivers, helping with homework, playing sports outside, service of dinner and evening snack, cleaning of the club, arts and crafts, and other related tasks. The successful applicant will have lots of energy, an excellent written and verbal knowledge of English and is required to have a knowledge of the Irish language in order to help the children to do their homework. They will have some experience in a childcare or teaching capacity. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 1.30- 6.30 daily during term time.
