An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Belmayne Community Special school, under the patronage of DDLETB, caters for students aged between 4-18 years with a dual diagnosis of Autism and Moderate or Severe learning difficulties and complex needs, invites applications for a special class teacher.

Candidates should have experience in working with children, have an understanding of additional needs and be able to deal with parents & school staff in a professional way.
School Bus Escorts will be expected to travel to and from the school to meet the bus.
Applicants must supply suitable character references and Garda Vetting is mandatory.
Hourly rate of pay is €15.66. Bus Escorts will not be paid during school holidays. Holiday pay is at a rate of 8% per hours worked and paid 3 times per year. This is a non-pensionable post.
