An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are recruiting for two SNA positions: (1) one full-time standard SNA post with core working hours of 9am to 240pm and (2) one part-time 0.66 standard SNA post (core hours of 21.12 hours per week), with the exact part-time working day to be announced at the interview stage. Please indicate clearly in your cover letter in the body of your email application if you are applying for the full-time or part-time position or for both positions.

The successful applicants may be allocated to support pupils in our mainstream classes or in our new special class for pupils with autism. Experience of working with children who are neurodivergent or who have intimate care or medical needs is desirable.

We are a small, welcoming and inclusive school. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring and patient. They will have proven experience of working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

SNA duties will be as per the latest Department of Education Circular.

Applicants must satisfy all Department of Education SNA appointment requirements, including Garda Vetting specifically for our school.
