An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Saplings Special School caters for pupils with Autism and Complex Needs (4-18 years old). Applicants should have experience of working with Autism, as well as experience of working with students with challenging behaviour within a special school setting. Duties, qualifications and salary as outlined on the Dept of Education website. Duties also include assisting students in the water during weekly swimming lessons. Saplings opens from Sept – June annually. Working hours are 09:15 – 3:40pm Mon-Fri.
