The following experience and skills are desirable:
- Supporting students with a range of needs (e.g. sensory, communicative, emotional, behavioural and significant primary care needs)
- Supporting students with autism within mainstream & special class settings
- Knowledge of and experience in the development of Primary care Plans (PCPs)
- Willingness to lead and organise initiatives and events that foster a sense of community, a strong school culture and develop inter-school networks.
- Strong communication skills which contribute to the development of the school in collaboration with the Principal, staff, pupils, and the whole school community.
- The ability to promote a culture of caring, learning and creativity amongst all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
The appointment will be subject to Garda vetting requirements, Occupational health screening, evidence of qualifications and satisfactory references (minimum of three). Please include PF1 if applicable.
