An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Lisnagry National School is a co-educational primary school with a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Bishop of Killaloe. Applications are invited from highly dedicated candidates for Special Needs Assistant posts.
1 0.83 hours ( Infant day) position
The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014 and 0032/2026
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
We invite those who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school..
CPD on autism / Experience working with children with ASD, emtional/behavioural needs, ADHD is desirable.
The successful candidate can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal. This includes mainstream classes as well as our autism class. Our SNA allocation is subject to review at any stage.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with Supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application. Applications will be accepted by post only. Please clearly mark "SNA Application" on the envelope. Canvassing will disqualify without exception. Only those candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted
