The Board of Management of Tarbert Comprehensive School, Co. Kerry invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the position of a teacher of English and English as an Additional Language – Specific Purpose - 15 hours approximately. The Department of Education has granted these hours based on the number of Ukrainian refugee students currently enrolled in Tarbert Comprehensive School. The successful applicant will engage with our Ukrainian students in the E.A.L. classroom and also through Team Teaching in mainstream subjects. Closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Wednesday July 30th 2025. Interviews are provisionally due to take some time thereafter. Shortlisting may apply and canvassing will disqualify. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. All appointments are subject to the sanction and approval of the Director of Re-deployment and Department of Education.
