Manorcunningham Community Child Care Centre is recruiting a Graduate Lead Educator to join our early years team. We are a small community based part-time service with a not-for-profit ethos catering for 32 children aged 2 years 8 months up to 6 years .The lead Educator will be responsible for providing a safe, caring, stimulating and inclusive play-based environment that promotes the participation and holistic development of all children
Essential Qualification Required
Applicants must have a minimum QQI level 7 qualification in early years care and education (This qualification must be listed on the most recent DCEDIY list of Early Years Recognised Qualifications /or have a Letter of Eligibility from DCYA which indicates same).
Experience
Candidates must have 2 years’ post qualification experience in an early years’ setting (pre-school, Junior/senior infant class) or related child care field
and 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in a child care setting or related field
Experience working with children with additional needs in a child care setting or related field
Garda vetting and international child protection certificate /police clearance is a standard safeguarding requirement for all employees who have resided outside of Ireland/Northern Ireland for a period of 6 months or more
