An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Barra has been designated by the Department of Education as the base school for a Primary Teacher Supply Panel. The purpose of the Teacher Supply Panel is to provide substitution cover to a cluster of designated primary schools in the area.

The teachers on the Teacher Supply Panel will be appointed to the staff of Scoil Naomh Barra on a fixed term contract for the 2022/2023 school year. The Teacher Supply Panel will operate in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in Circular 0059/2019. For further information in relation to this, please refer to Circular 59/2019.
