An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

One full-time post and one 0.5 post.
These posts are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Applications will only be accepted via email. Applicants who are members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with panel rights must furnish a certified copy of a completed PF1 Form at the time of application. Contract of Employment as per circular 15/2005. Garda vetting required as per circular 31/2016. Medical fitness required as confirmed by the Occupational Health Service. Detail about the care needs and tasks requiring SNA support as per circular 30/2014.
Castlebar Primary School is an amalgamation of St. Patrick's De La Salle Boys' N.S. and St. Angela's N.S. commencing 1/9/2022. The junior campus (junior infants to 2nd class) is located at the Lawn F23VY83. The senior campus (3rd Class to 6th Class) is located at Upper Chapel Street F23K389. Those appointed to the posts may be assigned to either campus or may be shared between the two campuses.
