An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The post is a post in special education, but is subject to change at the determination of the principal. This is a shared post as part of a cluster. Applicants must have access to travel.
Boston N.S. is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the
appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.

The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
Third Level postgraduate qualification or evidence of ongoing CPD in Special
Education would be advantageous.
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, IEPs, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading,
IT for SEN, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
Interests/skills/experience in PE/Sport are advantageous.
Non-compliance with terms of the advertisement will automatically disqualify
candidates.

proof of qualifications, Teaching Council registration and teaching practice grades.
