An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Chormaic is a special school which provides educational provision for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (aged 3-18yrs)
The teaching positions are in our ASD primary and secondary sections of the school. The positions are open to candidates with a primary or secondary teaching qualification.
Experience of teaching children with a diagnosis of ASD is highly desirable. Some pupils present with behaviours that challenge, therefore adequate and relevant experience working with children that experience such behaviours is also highly desirable.
The interview process will be used to fill any fixed term and specific purpose contracts for 2022/2023 which may arise within a 4 month period.
