Additional Information:
St. Anne’s School is a co-educational school for pupils between the ages of 4 and 18 who have been assessed a having either a moderate or severe/profound general learning disability. Teaching staff: 13, SNA: 36, current enrolment 71.
Many of the pupils would have additional needs such as physical disabilities, sensory impairment or autistic spectrum disorder.
Our aim is to give the children a caring and inspiring academic atmosphere to enable them to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to continue to lead and strengthen the Ethos of the school.

Candidates are asked to complete an application form provided on application to: recruitment@kare.ie
Copies of all certification should be attached.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
1. A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of of St. Anne's Special School and KARE as an organisation
2. Experience of teaching in a special school
3. Experience of teaching in a multi-cultural setting
4. Strong leadership skills and experience of managing people (in any setting)
5. Knowledge and capacity to successfully lead and administer our school
6. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Proven ability to work as part of a team and to foster leadership in others
A minimum of 3 applicants are required for the process to proceed.
