Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position is for 0.5 of a post (16 hrs per week spread out over five days) and is subject to SENO review.
Experience in working with pupils with visual impairment, ASD and challenging behaviour would be an advantage. Previous experience in a DEIS school is desirable. Please detail how you meet these desirable skills and experience in your letter of application.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills requirements.
Envelopes should be clearly marked "SNA Application"
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, compliance with current Garda vetting requirements and OHS.
Applicants who are members of the SNA Supplementary Panel must submit a certified copy of the completed PF1 with their application. Canvassing will disqualify.
