St Canice's NS invites applications for the position of part time Special Needs Assistant. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect for the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team and be willing to avail of training.
This is a 0.5 SNA position allocation as part of a jobshare arrangement.
The role of the successful candidate will involve working with children who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care needs.
Applications should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0034/2018
All appointments are subject to successful completion of Garda Vetting Procedure, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the Online TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.
Canvassing will disqualify.

An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
