An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Our Lady of Hope School is a new Special School under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Dermot Farrell. The school will cater for pupils ages 4 - 18 years who have a diagnosis of Autism and Complex Needs. The school will be located in the refurbished premises of Scoil Colm, Armagh Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in this developing special school.
The school will be staffed in accordance with an initial enrolment of 36 pupils.
Knowledge and experience of working with pupils who have a diagnosis of ASD and Complex Needs is an advantage.
This position offers an opportunity to shape and develop a new school.
Applicants must have certification in Religious Education.
Appointment will be subject to current Vetting Requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
