Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The following qualifications, experience and skills are desirable: full probation, experience of working with an SNA, ability to differentiate the curriculum, strong IT skills and good behaviour management skills. Please indicate how you meet these requirements in your letter of application. Candidates called to interview will be required to supply original copies of third level qualifications and proof of Teaching Council registration. In order to be eligible for appointment candidates must have a certificate to teach RE. Appointment will be subject, but not limited to Teaching Council Registration, Occupational Health Screening, Garda Vetting and satisfactory references. Please mark the envelope as "Substitute - Maternity". The successful candidate will be appointed to a main-stream post initially, however duties may be subject to change.
